What this site collects, which is close to nothing, and what happens when you follow a link out.

Nothing to sign up for

There is no account, no newsletter and no form on this site. We do not ask for a name, an address or a card number, and there is nowhere here to type one.

Server logs

The host records ordinary request data: which page, what time, a shortened network address, the browser string. It is used to check the site is up and to count visits in bulk. It is not connected to a person.

Cookies

This site sets none of its own. Follow a link to the retailer and that retailer may set cookies on their own domain, including one recording where the visit came from. Their policy covers that, not this page.

Affiliate tracking

Outbound links carry an identifier that belongs to this site rather than to you. It tells the retailer the visit came from here. What comes back is a count of sales, with no name, address or payment detail attached.

Third parties

No ad network, no cross-site tracking, no analytics that follows you elsewhere. Product photos are served from this domain instead of being pulled from the retailer, so opening a page here does not announce you to them.

Children

Plenty of the socks in this catalog are made for children. The site itself is written for the adult doing the buying, is not directed at children, and collects nothing from anybody.

Changes

A changed policy replaces the text on this page. There is no list to notify because we keep no addresses.
