What to check before you buy this pair

Squirrels and sole text

Maple leaves and scampering squirrels sit on the upper leg. Underneath the feet, printed lettering spells out THIS GIRL REALLY LOVES SQUIRRELS across the soles.

Sized for older kids

Proportioned specifically for girls ages 10 to 12. The knit pulls up comfortably over the ankle and stays in place during school days or weekend lounging.

Cotton blend yarn

The knit uses 80 percent cotton for soft breathability, mixed with 15 percent polyamide for structure and 5 percent elastane to keep the cuffs stretchy.

Ready for gifting

Each pair arrives packaged in its own printed gift box. It fits neatly into a holiday stocking or works as a standalone birthday treat for backyard wildlife fans.

Specification as the manufacturer wrote it, wording and all:

COMFORTABLE & SOFT MATERIAL: Our socks are made of 80% Cotton, 15% Polyamide and 5% Elastane, which are soft, comfortable, stretchy and breathable.

Sizing

Match the shoe size, not the sock size

Novelty socks from this label are sold by the shoe size they fit, and the range on the listing is wide. If the wearer sits at the top of the range, the cuff will be shorter on them than in the photo.

How the sizes work

1Find the shoe rangeEvery product page repeats the range from the label, usually men US 6 to 13 or women US 5 to 10. If the recipient is outside it, the sock will still go on and it will sit lower than the photo.

2Check the heightCrew hits mid calf. Knee-high and thigh-high pairs list a leg length in inches, and that number matters more than the shoe size for anyone tall.

3Look at the stretch contentSpandex and elastane sit between three and fifteen percent in this range. The higher end takes a wider calf. The cotton-heavy pairs stretch less and hold shape longer.
